The start of a New Year. Ahead are 12 months where you can achieve whatever you put your mind to. This is a time when people plan how to reach their personal and professional aims and ambitions. At College you can find an avenue to a variety of bright futures; let’s have a look at how.
By studying with us, you can develop key skills for success in a variety of areas including Animal Care, Childcare, Construction, Engineering, Hair and Beauty, Health and Social Care, Land-based Industries, Motor Vehicle, Public Services, Sport and more.
Whatever your choice, you’ll be learning in facilities which simulate the real world. From our hybrid vehicle kitted-out motor vehicle workshops to our industry-standard commercial salon, to our specialised construction areas to our AstroTurf pitch, you’ll gain all the realistic skills to give you a leg up in the world of work.
Where you learn is important, and so is who you learn from. Our talented team of tutors have experience of working in the areas they teach, bringing passion and experience to your development. Our courses are also designed in close collaboration with key local employers – so you’re safe in the knowledge that you’re gaining in-demand skills, knowledge and behaviours.
Looking to reach University? Our Level 3 courses are equivalent to A-Levels and are worth UCAS points, so you can progress to a range of degrees when you complete your qualification.
If you’re wanting to get more hands-on then we also offer a variety of apprenticeships. We have an established network of employers looking for talented, hardworking and enthusiastic people just like you. On an apprenticeship you will earn a wage while you learn, you’ll work alongside experienced staff and have a workplace mentor to help you gain the specific skills you’ll need to succeed in your chosen career. Apprenticeships are available to people of any age, from a school leaver starting their career to a manager who wants to gain new qualifications.
While developing your skills and preparing for your dream career is hugely important, we know your college experience is about much more than that, which is why we’ve invested in an enrichment programme to encourage our students to discover new things, develop new skills and meet new people.
