We offer a wide range of media and photography courses, from Level 1 at Rotherham College up to degree level at our Higher Education facility, University Centre Rotherham.
The requirement for lens based work is increasing rapidly. Our courses give you the opportunity to produce visually dynamic work as well as offering you the chance to be taught by supportive tutors equipped with years of experience in their field.
You will be involved in creating projects for ‘live’ client briefs, develop a wide range of technical skills using industry-standard equipment.
Learn in industry standard facilities including our TV studio, radio suites, photographic studio, dark room facilities and post-production suites. You’ll have the opportunity to attend trips to galleries, TV studios, festivals, industry trade shows, workshops and lectures with guest speakers.
Using our photography studios, camera equipment, post-production software and dark room you’ll develop key creative, technical and post-production skills to create high-quality imagery. You’ll learn core business principles, key for those aspiring to launch their own freelance photography business, work on live client briefs and with models to produce portfolios. Your work will also be exhibited in the annual photography festival, published on our online photography website gallery and entered for national and global competitions.
