Fashion

If you’ve ever dreamt of a famous celebrity answering the question ‘Who are you wearing?’ with your name, then a career in fashion could be for you. That said, the majority of fashion designers in the UK work for big retail or manufacturing companies supplying garments into our high street stores, so just seeing someone walk down the street in one of your designs could be your ambition.

The main requirement for someone in this industry is talent. If you have a natural artistic flair in this area then there are many options open to you to develop a successful career. From Junior Designer up to Creative Director, or even running your own design studio. Whatever path you choose, networks and contacts in this industry are important, so ensure you start making those connections early on in your career.
