Project-Based Programme

Project-Based Learning overview

Our SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Project-Based Learning Programme, delivered over one term, is designed to support 16-19 year olds with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

This programme is for 16-19 year olds who are:

  • At risk of or currently NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).
  • Previously home educated (6+ months).
  • In need of structured support to access further education, employment, or training.
  • Each student will follow a 3-year learning plan to support progress and journey.

The aim is to build confidence, emotional resilience, and employability skills through a project based curriculum, enabling a smooth transition into college or supported internships and apprenticeships after 12 weeks in the programme.
