Gain skills and knowledge of roles within the Early Years and Childcare sector, understanding theory and legislation with a combination of classroom teaching and work placements. You may have the opportunity to gain extra specialist skills through additional qualifications such as, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, Paediatric First Aid, Baby Massage, Makaton, and Safeguarding.

You will take part in regular work placements within local infant schools, nurseries, children’s centres and more, to gain valuable experience.

There will be opportunities to progress into employment or further study within the early year’s industry. All of our tutors have extensive experience and specialist knowledge of the early year’s sector.
