Countryside Management gives you skills for conservation, improving the environment and creating and maintaining heritage sites. Horticulture provides skills in propagations, landscaping, machinery, plant science, pond installation, brickwork and paving. Forestry and Arboriculture allows opportunities for students to develop sought-after skills needed in the conservation and tourism industries.

We have a 12-acre “diamond” forest which is home to our forestry and arboriculture provision and helps train future arborists for aerial and ground-based tree work.
