Juwairiyyah Nisar is a case study for those inspiring to move forward in their careers while managing their families and children at home. Her ambitions to learn made it possible for her to complete three courses from the college via Distance Learning at Dearne Valley College. Her learning and credentials enabled her to take up the role of ‘Learner Recruitment & Reception Officer’ at University Centre Rotherham. This is certainly a story to be shared, and nobody can tell it better than herself. This is Juwairiyyah Nisar’s story, in her own words.

Level 2 Principles of Customer Service

I thoroughly enjoyed studying the Level 2 Principles of Customer Service as this course has enhanced my customer service skills significantly for the role as a Learner Recruitment and Reception Officer at University Centre Rotherham.

By obtaining the Level 2 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification, I have learned how to provide administrative services in a highly professional manner and communicate effectively with customers at University Centre Rotherham. By studying the beneficial modules in this course, I have learned and developed knowledge on how to communicate effectively and positively in a business environment and carry out business administrative tasks in the workplace.

The course was a very flexible way to study as a distance learning student and be able to have the guidance and feedback provided by the course tutor when help was needed for my understanding of the course. I was able to provide examples in my answers for the course whilst working as a Learner Recruitment and Reception Officer and I was able to demonstrate the skills I have gained so far and identify areas for improvement. I now feel that I am much more confident and I have the ability to provide excellent customer service at University Centre Rotherham.

I would highly recommend other adults to study the Level 2 Principles in Customer Service as this can open doors to further opportunities! The Level 2 Principles in Customer Service is a nationally recognised qualification which can be obtained online and working from home.

Level 2 Business Administration

I thoroughly enjoyed studying the Level 2 Business Administration course as this course has allowed me to become a competent Learner Recruitment and Reception Officer.

The Level 2 Business Administration course has developed and enhanced my ability to understand customers and to deal with storing and retrieving information in a professional manner.

The course has allowed to be able to develop my relationship with customers and also learn how to deal with challenging customers and be able to resolve problems in an efficient manner and understand employer organisations.

I am very proud to have completed the Level 2 Information, Advice and Guidance course provided by the RNN Group.
