This qualification is for candidates wishing to gain understanding and practical experience in the Plumbing Trade.
The course is designed to be two evening classes per week of up to 3 hours each
Learners will carry out safe working practices in Building Services Engineering, understand how to communicate with others within Building Services Engineering, apply environmental protection measures within BSE and apply scientific principles within MES
· Carry out site preparation, and pipework fabrication techniques for domestic plumbing and heating systems
· Apply domestic cold-water system installation and maintenance techniques
· Apply domestic hot water system installation and maintenance
· Apply domestic central heating system installation and maintenance techniques
· Apply domestic rainwater system installation and maintenance techniques
Excellent facilities with industry-experienced, qualified tutors who have spent many years in construction and have specialist qualifications and knowledge to bring to their teaching
Level 1 Plumbing although this is not essential to complete the programme.
