The Level 2 NCFE Uniformed Protective Services courses is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career within the uniformed services, such as the police, Fire and Rescue Service, Armed Forces, Border Force, pr Prison Service.
It provides a practical and theoretical introduction to the skills, values, and teamwork required to succeed in the public services sector while developing your presonal confidence, discipline, and leadership abilities
Throughout the coursem you will explore a range of subjects that build your understanding of the uniformed services, including:
- Introduction to the uniformed services
- Health, fitness, and wellbeing for service entry
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Citizenship and community engagement
- The role and responsibilities of public service workers
- Responding to emergency incidents
- Career planning and emply
You’ll take part in fitness training, teamwork challenges, outdoor activities, and vistis from serving professionals.

- Develop practical skills through teamwork, drills, and field exercises
- Opportunities to take part in community projects and service-based activities

3 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above, including English or PE, or a relevant Level 1 qualification.
A strong interest in the public or uniformed services.
Willingness to take part in practical, fitness, and outdoor activities.
