The Government has launched a support service for apprentices who have been made redundant due to the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The support service can offer a range of advice on finding new opportunities and providing guidance on local and national support services providing financial, health and wellbeing, legal and careers advice.
You can also sign up for their free vacancy sharing service – a service full of opportunities with employers looking to employ redundant apprentices.

If you’ve been made redundant from your apprenticeship it’s important to update your CV. Make sure you include all of the knowledge and skills you’ve gained whilst on your apprenticeship and ensure that prospective employers can see your strengths.
Prepare a cover letter – Our top tip for writing a good cover letter is to make sure it’s relevant for the role you’re applying for. It takes a little extra effort but taking a few extra minutes to tailor your cover letter to the role you’re applying for can be the difference between getting shortlisted for interview or missing out.
