The Level 1 Award is a City & Guilds qualification which focuses on the basic practical principles for the absolute novice to build confidence and underpinning knowledge. You should be interested in the bricklaying industry and/or developing some home DIY skills, if this is you, then this is the starting point.
Aspects of the brickwork trade completing basic brick walls in a range of different bonds while using a wide range of bricklaying tools and equipment to enhance knowledge and skills including the Roles and Responsibilities of tradespersons, Health and Safety units and site communications.
Excellent facilities with industry-experienced, qualified tutors who have spent many years in construction and have specialist qualifications and knowledge to bring to their teaching
A basic understanding of the bricklaying trade although this is not essential to complete the programme.
