RNN Group has a group-wide policy of emphasizing health and wellbeing practices to be adopted by teachers, students, and staff alike. One of the steps towards healthy eating habits is the understanding of nutrition and following a balanced diet.

Understanding Food Labels Kiosk at Rotherham College

Ahsan Ahmed, from the Health and Wellbeing team, has organised a series of events to share valuable information about healthy eating in 6 weeks.

The kick-off event was held at Rotherham College on 16th January covering the in-depth understanding of food labels and how a quick look at the food labels on the products we buy daily can help us restrain from unhealthy food, and make wise choices.

The events will continue throughout the next six weeks at Rotherham College, North Notts College and Dearne Valley College, with the schedule below;

Week 1 – Understanding Food Labels
