The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to progress onto further training in site carpentry at Level 2, with the fundamental aim of progressing into a job role within the construction industry.
This course offers an introduction to carpentry and joinery, where you will start understanding how to use basic hand tools to construct basic woodworking joints. Progressing onto practical tasks such as fixing skirting board and architraves and installing stud work.
DVC offers the suitable candidate, modern construction equipment and an up-to-date workshop meeting all industry specifications. As well as industry-trained teachers.
