Our Animal Experiences
Exotic Encounter
Have an Exotic Encounter with some of the most fascinating creatures in our collection as you get up close with our armadillo, meerkats and sugar gliders.
Learn about their unique behaviours, natural habitats and special adaptations while watching them explore and play – a rare opportunity to discover what makes each of these remarkable animals so captivating, all in a safe and friendly setting.

Scales and Tails
Have a Scale and Tails experience by stepping into the extraordinary world of reptiles and invertebrates as you visit our snakes, lizards and even tarantulas.
This hands-on experience lets you see these incredible creatures up close and learn more about them. Whether you’re curious or a little cautious, our expert team ensures a safe, engaging and unforgettable encounter.

Small and Furry
Say hello to our Small and Furry friends; our rabbits and guinea pigs. These gentle, charming creatures are perfect for visitors of all ages, offering plenty of opportunities for stroking, feeding and learning about their care.
Whether you’re a small animal enthusiast or simply looking for a calm, comforting encounter, our rabbits and guinea pigs are sure to make you smile.

Farmyard Animals
Come face to face with our goats, alpacas and chickens for a fun Farmyard Animals experience. Spend time observing their personalities, learning how they’re cared for and discovering the important role each animal plays on a farm.
Whether you’re meeting the curious goats, the gentle alpacas or our friendly flock of chickens, this hands-on encounter offers a warm and memorable taste of life with our farm animals.

Choose to do three of our Animal Experiences, choose from;

How do I book an Animal Experience?
To request to book an Animal Experience please complete our short online form and a member of our team will get back to you.
How long is an Animal Experience?
Each Animal Experience lasts for 1 hour.
If you choose our Mix and Match Experience will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
How much does an Animal Experience cost?
The cost of an Animal Experience is £35 per person participating.
You can mix and match three of our Experiences for £45.
There is a £10 add-on for parents/carers who wish to join in with the Experience.
What will happen during the Animal Experience?
Activities may include feeding, watering, cleaning, handling, and learning about the animals.
What is the minimum age for children taking part?
Children need to be 6+ years old to take part in an Animal Experience.
Children under 16 years old will need to have a parent/carer with them on site.
When are Animal Experiences available?
Animal Experiences are available to book;
- At weekends and outside of term time; 10am-11am, 11am-12pm and 1pm-2pm.
- On week days during term time; 3pm-4pm and 4pm-5pm.
What is the appropriate clothing to wear?
Appropriate footwear must be worn, no jewellery, and hair should be tied back.
