Counselling alumni, Elaine, shares her experience and route to success
Our former student, Elaine Mirza, is now a Counseller at RNN Group. Elaine developed her skills at Dearne Valley College and began her Route to Success by studying Level 2 and 3 Counselling at Dearne Valley College and Level 4 Counselling at our sister college, North Notts College.
Elaine said “Due to mental health becoming increasingly spoken about, I believe there will be increasing opportunities for those interested in a career in counselling. There are opportunities to be self-employed, a clinical supervisor and as well as a tutor in counselling.”
