Rotherham College offers industry recognised qualifications in spacious Plumbing workshops. All our courses are delivered by experienced industry trained specialists who are continually assessed to current standards, who can offer careers advice and have links to the industry.
Our Curriculum is designed with input from local employers to ensure we are providing the essential skills needed by the local community and the surrounding area.
Through the Google Workspace, we encourage independence to develop essential skills required to be successful in your chosen career.
Within Plumbing, we offer different levels of study.Basic material fabrication, Copper, Low Carbon Steel, Plastic pressure pipe, Waste water drainage systems, Environmental & sustainability, Health & Safety, Plumbing Science.
Once familiar with the basics, we move to system plumbing, Processes’, Cold Water, Hot Water, Central Heating, Sanitation & Drainage, leading to Environmental technology and system planning and design.
All these units require assessments of various forms, written, practical & scenario/case studies.
All courses will include varying levels of sector specific Maths & English.
