The purpose of this qualification is to allow learners to demonstrate understanding of and competency in digital literacy skills. It will help learners progress to a work role where digital literacy skills are required.
The objectives of this qualification are to enable learners to:
Learn from industry-experienced and well-qualified tutors who have spent many years in the Computing and Digital sector and have specialist qualifications and knowledge to bring to their teaching
The evening course is designed to enable adult to learn and develop computing and digital skills whilst balancing home and work commitment Learners will learn by participating in a range of activities through a hybrid model of face to face and online lessons
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they’ve already achieved a Level 1 qualification
