This course will enable learners to understand their rights in the workplace and how to apply for jobs safely. Learners will learn how to identify the main signs of modern slavery and labour exploitation, how to report any concerns to the Gangmasters & Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA). The course raises awareness of basic employment rights that are provided by UK law and how to spot if a job advertisement is genuine or not. Learners will gain the tools to enable them to understand whether or not, they or a colleague are being exploited and how this should be reported.
