This course is taught over one year, and precedes the certificate and Diploma year however, each year is a separate qualification. You achieve an award in Childcare and Education on completion of year one and the a Technical certificate and a Technical Diploma in Childcare and Education on completion of year two and three. Our Level 3 Childcare courses will prepare you with the skills and advanced knowledge needed for a career within a variety of settings in the early years industry. You will improve your employability skills by taking part in a work experience placement to put your knowledge into practice. You will complete 400 hours of placement experience with children aged 0-7 years.

Midwives support pregnant women and their babies before, during and after, childbirth.
Giving pregnant women advice on staying healthy, run classes on pregnancy and parenting, check the health of mother and baby during pregnancy, monitor the mother and baby during labour, deliver the baby and visit people’s homes to check on mother and baby.**
You could work at a client’s home, at a health centre or a hospital.

Social workers help to protect vulnerable children and adults from harm or abuse and support people to live independently.
Put together support plans for clients, keep records and write reports, discuss your cases
with your supervisors, support clients safety and take the right action to protect them when necessary, work closely with communities, health professionals and other agencies, help clients to develop and maintain independent living skills and hold meeting and assessments with individuals and families to review their situation.**
