The Level 1 Award is a City & Guilds qualification which focuses on the basic practical principles for the absolute novice to build confidence and underpinning knowledge. You should be interested in the bricklaying industry and/or developing some home DIY skills, if this is you, then this is the starting point.
Health, safety and welfare in construction.
Contribute to setting out and building of masonry structures.
Constructing block walling activities.
Constructing half brick return corners.
Excellent facilities with industry-experienced, qualified tutors who have spent many years in construction and have specialist qualifications and knowledge to bring to their teaching,

On successful completion of the Level 1 Award in Bricklaying course, students can progress onto the relevant level 1 diploma including retrofit design in construction.
