DVC CLEANS UP ITS ACT

Date: 06/12/2010

Using the services of Green Street Media, the Wath based college has used a sustainable, eco-friendly, advertising solution to promote its services.

Green Street Media, based in Chester, Cheshire had a vision to revolutionise the way in which brands are marketed by offering highly effective media solutions that interact with the target audience. Specialising in clean street advertising, Green Street Media take a stencil of a client’s logo or message and with high powered jet washers, jet wash pavements leaving the clients message etched onto the floor for a period of up to eight weeks. Still a relatively new concept in the UK, people walking over the adverts can’t help but take notice.

John Gray, Marketing and Customer Relations Manager commented: “We decided to try the clean street advertising as a new and innovative method of advertising to the local community whilst helping the environment. Human curiosity and the sight of something new will hopefully promote the college to many more potential students and customers”.
Conrad Thornton from Green Street Media commented: “Green Street Media was founded to offer brands an alternative to traditional carbon-heavy advertising with a vision to revolutionise the advertising industry as we know it. Clean advertising is eco-friendly and we use nothing but clean water to implement our adverts. We also believe in giving back and do so by planting one tree in Africa for every clean advert that implemented. Not only do we offer an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional marketing methods, we do so with a passion for results and sustainability”.
