Based on the campus of Dearne Valley College (DVC) and for the sixth year running the two day Player Development Course will take place on the grass football pitches at the Rotherham based sports centre.

Taking place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June 2011 from 9.30am until 3.30pm, with a presentation ceremony on day two at 3.30pm, the two day course is delivered by the Manchester United Soccer Schools with participants developing all aspects of the game.

Each player is challenged to learn new skills and tricks and will discover how Manchester United trains their youngsters. Children will develop their skills in ball control, passing and dribbling, along with shooting and turning techniques and have the opportunity to win two Premier League tickets.

Open to both boys and girls aged between 6 and 16 years of age, the action-packed two day course will focus on the Manchester United Soccer Schools Development model, with use of state-of-the-art training equipment. Each player receives a player book and a Manchester United Soccer Schools giveaway.

One player from each course will be selected to attend Champions Day where they will get to play on the Old Trafford pitch.

The cost is £69.95 per person and participants are advised to bring a packed lunch, waterproofs and football boots.
