Students Host ‘Fright Night’ dining Experience at College Restaurant!

Dearne Valley College students are transforming their training restaurant at the Rockingham campus in Wath town centre, into a ghoulish ‘fright night’ den for a Halloween-themed dining experience.

The Griffin restaurant will be kitted out with grave stones and cobwebs complete with ghostly serving staff. The three-course menu for the evening has been created entirely by the students, who have chosen plenty of ghoulish treats to include on the menu, and costs just £8, and an extra 50p to round your evening off with a luxury coffee. Among the variety of choices on the menu is a delicious ‘Goblins Brew’, also known as Pea and Bacon Chowder, a chicken and mushroom ‘spider surprise’ pie and a cheesecake with ‘drizzled blood’ raspberry compote.

To book onto the evening, taking place on Thursday, 24th October at 12pm-1pm, you can contact the restaurant on 01709 513117. The restaurant hosts lunches weekly on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 12pm and 2pm (last orders taken at 1pm) and coffee mornings between 11.00am and 1pm.
