Dearne Valley College (DVC) is opening its doors to prospective students.

Youngsters will have the chance to look around the college as the campaign for further education courses starting September 2012 continues.

On Thursday 22 March 2012 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm in the sports hall of DVC Sports on the Manvers Campus, visitors will have an opportunity to look at the excellent facilities, chat to course tutors and support staff, get help with online applications and pick up information on the many vocational courses, Apprenticeships and Foundation Degrees.

Mark Hepworth, Assistant Admissions Manager commented:
“Deciding what to do next and indeed where to continue further study can be a difficult decision, we therefore have expert staff on hand to help young people make a decision as to where they would like to continue their studies”.

Visitors to the March Open Evening will also see a variety of vehicles including; sprint cars, rally cars and race cars. As well as meet race engineers, support crews and drivers as the College launches a new Motorsports programme.

Professional race teams and associations will be showcasing their vehicles including; ‘Team Honeywell’ UK Uniroyal Fun Cup Winners, Max Lees Locost Championship Driver, the Motor Sport Association, Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club and Dukeries Rally.

Dearne Valley College are now accepting applications for courses starting September 2012.
