Dearne Valley College (DVC) is opening its doors to prospective students during Adult Learners’ Week.

Visitors will have the chance to look around the college at the excellent facilities on Tuesday 15 May 2012 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm in the sports hall of DVC Sports at the Manvers Campus.

Adult Learners’ Week takes place week commencing 12 May 2012 and is the UK’s largest annual festival of learning; inspiring thousands of people each year to discover how learning can change their lives. Through thousands of events and award ceremonies, Adult Learners’ Week celebrates all kinds of learners and promotes the benefits of every type of learning*.

On the evening course tutors and support staff will be on hand for visitors to get help with course applications and information on the many vocational courses, Apprenticeships and Foundation Degrees.

Mark Hepworth, Customer Services and Admissions Manager commented:
“Deciding what to do next and indeed where to continue further study can be a difficult decision, we therefore have expert staff on hand to help potential students make a decision as to where they would like to either continue their studies or start something new”.

Dearne Valley College are now accepting applications for many courses.
