Dearne Valley College (DVC) has places left on a range of full and part-time courses and Foundation Degrees to suit everyone.
The college is encouraging anyone still undecided after taking exams this summer or wondering about their future direction to contact the college.
The Wath based college offers a number of vocational courses from Beauty Therapy, Business to Construction Skills and Apprenticeships in various trades, plus many part-time courses for adults and businesses.
If you are still undecided, why not try one of our Evolve programmes where you can get the chance to explore different course and work placements on a short course. After studying on one of our short courses whilst you decide what to do you can then enrol on our full or part-time programmes starting in January 2012.
If a chosen Higher Education place has fallen through, the college is also running a number of Foundation Degrees validated by Leeds Met and Sheffield Hallam University which include: Business Management, Early Years, Travel and Tourism Management and Sports Coaching (Performance and Participation).
Also on offer are the Certificate in Education (Cert Ed) and the Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) both validated by the University of Huddersfield.
New for September 2011 the college is offering Higher National Certificates (HNC) courses in Public Services and Business.
As a benefit of studying Higher Education at DVC students learn in excellent facilities within a supportive learning environment, experienced staff with knowledge of the industries, partnerships with: Sheffield Hallam University and Leeds Met to enable you to progress to the final year of a degree (if applicable), links with local employers to get the work experience you need and offer competitive fees.
