Dearne Valley College (DVC) is now offering the local community an option to study Higher Education on a part-time basis.
The new Higher National Certificates (HNC) programmes include; Business, Public Services, Travel and Tourism.
These flexible part-time programmes would appeal to those already in work wanting to up-skill to progress their career prospects. The two year, part-time courses are priced at £995.00m per year including all fees.

“Dearne Valley College has a ‘study local’ approach that enables students to gain a higher education qualification in the most cost effective way. As a vocational college, the programmes we offer are focussed on sector specific careers in addition to academic studies”.
Taking place on Thursday 26 April 2012 from 4.30pm until 6.30pm at the Wath- based, Manvers Campus. The College is hosting a Higher Education (HE) Open Evening. Staff will be on hand to offer help and advice about the many higher education programmes on offer.
Visitors to the evening can find out more about studying a Higher Education programme as well as having the chance to look around the college, chat to course tutors and support staff.
In addition to lower fees offered by the College, students can also benefit from DVC’s excellent campus facilities, comprehensive student support and further bursaries which may also be available to fund those study essentials.
Dearne Valley College are now accepting applications for courses starting September 2012.
