Dearne Valley College (DVC) is helping to boost blood stock levels in the region by inviting the National Blood Service onto its premises.
The National Blood Service Bloodmobile will be at the Manvers Campus on Tuesday 24 May 2011 between 9.30am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 4.00pm for people to donate blood.
Steve Hepworth, DVC Sports Centre Manager commented:
"It is vitally important that people come along to Dearne Valley College to donate blood to help the National Blood Service save lives. The service is dependent on maintaining its required level of donors so it can run as usual. We are urging as many people as possible to do their bit and book an appointment today!".
The Blood Service welcomes all donors new and existing that want to participate and take part in the session.
The sessions on Tuesday 24 May 2011 are by appointment only, to register and book an appointment call T: 0300 123 23 23 or visit www.blood.co.uk
The National Blood Service Bloodmobile will be returning to the Wath based college on Thursday 22 September 2011.
