Dearne Valley College (DVC) is hosting an Open Day where individuals can find out more about Apprenticeships.
Taking place on Thursday 29 March 2012 from 1.00pm until 4.00pm at the Manvers Campus, staff will be on hand to offer help and advice about the advantages of an undertaking an Apprenticeship.
At the Open Day people can apply for current Apprenticeship job vacancies, get help with writing their CVs, found out how Apprenticeships work, meet the team and speak to current Apprentices about their experience.
If individuals are currently not in education, training or employment, Dearne Valley College can match you with a local employer, find an Apprenticeship that suits and help you reach your goals. If already employed, an Apprenticeship is a great way to turn your knowledge and experience into a recognised qualification.
There are lots of Apprenticeship opportunities available across a wide range of industries including; Brickwork, Business Administration, Childcare, Team Leading, Food Production and Cooking, Health and Social Care, Joinery, Painting and Decorating, Plastering, Brickwork, Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Tiling (Floor and Wall) and Sport.
Apprenticeships in Retail, Hairdressing, IT Technician, Motor Vehicle, Telesales/Contact Centre, Horticulture, Maintenance Operations, AAT Accounting will also be available though the College soon.

Visitors are asked to bring their CVs to apply for vacancies on the day.
Further Open Evenings will take place in the sports hall of DVC Sports at the Manvers Campus from 4.30pm to 7.30pm on: Thursday 22 March and Tuesday 15 May 2012.
