Entry Requirements for Full-time Courses

THere are the general entry requirements for our full-time courses to give you an idea of what level you will be studying at depending on your grades. If you don’t quite meet the entry requirements, don’t worry. We’ll talk to you about your aspirations and grades to determine which level is best suited to you.

Entry Level  Assessment of basic skills.
Level 1  Completion of a GCSE programme or equivalent.
English and Maths at Entry Level 2 or 3.
Level 2  4 GCSEs at grade A*-E or vocational equivalent.
GCSE English and Maths at Grade D-E or English and Maths at Level 1.
Completion of a Level 1 qualification in a relevant subject.
Level 3  5-7 GCSEs at grade A*-C including English and Maths.
Completion of a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject at Merit or above.
Apprenticeship  Suitable offer of employment.
4 GCSEs at grade A*-E.
English and Maths at Grade D-E or English and Maths at Level 1.
