• Employability
• English
• Maths

The Traineeship Programme Will Offer You:

  • 2 weeks initial training at Dearne Valley College.
  • A further 8 weeks of training, with three days per week spent with an employer on work placement, and 2 days per week spent at College refreshing your functional English, Mathematics and employability skills.
  • A Level 1 Award in Skills for Further Learning and Employment.Upon completion of the programme you will have covered modules including Responsible Work Practice, Handling Telephone Customers, Self-Management and Communications in the Workplace, among others.
  • A Level 2 Employment Rights & Responsibilities qualification

Our specialist team will work with employers to find you a work placement that matches your career aspirations and which may enable you to progress onto a paid Apprenticeship, employment or a Full-Time course.

Please note that places on the courses areconditional subject to our team identifying a suitable placement opportunity for you.
